Alliance
for Pediatric Quality Launches Website
July 10, 2007 - To establish a unified voice for improving the quality
of pediatric health care, four national organizations recognized as
leaders in pediatrics recently formed the Alliance for Pediatric Quality
(Alliance). These organizations are the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP),
The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), Child Health Corporation of
America (CHCA) and the National Association of Children's Hospitals and
Related Institutions (NACHRI).
As a contractor for Dobies Healthcare Group,
Mary Theobald wrote, organized and posted content on the new Alliance
website, www.kidsquality.org. Theobald was selected for her expertise in
healthcare performance improvement. She previously worked with CHCA to
help introduce new products, brand meetings, promote quality initiatives
and position their member hospitals to lead how pediatric care is
measured for quality and reimbursement.
Dobies Healthcare Group is a Kansas City
area healthcare communications firm; see www.dobies.com.
